Overview

PFU America, Inc., Information systems is looking for Information Security Intern to support and document our IT Infrastructure and security. As a member of IT team, you will be responsible for addressing information security requirements with all aspects of system/application development process in accordance to IT policies, procedures, best practices and outcome of this Internship an individual will get mentor in IT security and operations skills.

Job Requirements:

Must have a good knowledge in server, virtual platform, operating system, network, security, database, application and cloud computing environment.
Knowledge of IT processes and related securities.
Responsible for documenting IT Infrastructure and security group operations.
Knowledge of anti-malware, discovery and mitigation tools.
Ability to provide analysis of security vulnerabilities and potential remediation.
Good with at least one coding language and willingness in learning new things.
Analyze security audit report, conduct risk assessment, document identified gaps and also help in updating policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure, authentication, authorization, single sign-on and identity access management.
Responsible for database, application web tech stack security hardening and base line establishment.
A solid understanding of data sources, data organization, proper data handling and storage.
An Individual who is interested in security protocols and IT security systems.
Monitor security measures for the protection of system, web sites, networks and information systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share security findings with shareholders.

Skills and Abilities:

Good understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models and their functions, ports and protocols.
Knowledge of Linux Bash, PowerShell and Python.
Participate in Risk assessment and gap analysis.
Knowledge in ITIL, SDLC and SLC processes.
Good understanding of security scan and penetration test reports and recommend possible remediation.

Qualifications:

Pursuing Bachelor�s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or related field required.
Knowledge and understanding of Operating Systems, Cloud, Network, Firewall, Database & Web application, Information Security, IT Standards, OWASP, CVE and Security Frameworks will be an advantage.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
